Heidi Bitterman is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer.
Ms. Bitterman completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Ms. Bitterman graduated from Southwestern University School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in December, 2006. Prior to her admission to the bar, Ms. Bitterman clerked for a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law. Ms. Bitterman has practiced exclusively in the areas of trust and probate law since her admission to the bar.
In addition to traditional estate planning, Ms. Bitterman has experience in the drafting and administration of trusts, including specialized trusts such as qualified domestic trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts and special needs trusts. Ms. Bitterman provides assistance and planning for individuals who are going through legal separation and divorce.
Ms. Bitterman also has comprehensive experience in probate. She represents clients in the administration of estates, conservatorship proceedings, guardianship proceedings and
court supervised trusts.
Ms. Bitterman is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Pasadena Bar Association.
